STICK WAR: LEGACY

Privacy — Stick War: Legacy

How stickwarlegacy.co.uk handles votes, comments, contact messages and embedded game providers.

Scope of this page

This page explains the information handled by the independent Stick War: Legacy website at stickwarlegacy.co.uk. It covers the site’s own voting, comments and contact tools. A game running inside an iframe is delivered by its own provider and may process information under a separate privacy notice.

You can read the game information without posting a comment or sending a message. Choosing to open a player, video or store link contacts another service. That service can receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details and the page-origin information normally sent by the browser.

Voting and essential identifiers

The like and dislike buttons use an essential signed browser identifier so the service can recognise a visitor’s current vote. The identifier is stored in a cookie called arcade_actor. The site records the selected game and vote preference, allowing the buttons to update or remove a vote.

This first-party identifier is not an advertising profile. Clearing it can cause the site to treat a browser as a new visitor. Requests may be rate-limited using technical information to reduce automated abuse. Administrative access uses a separate protected session cookie and is not needed to read a game page.

Comments and contact messages

A comment form collects a display name, email and message. Approved comments can show the display name, message and publication date; the email is kept out of the public response. Comments wait for review rather than appearing immediately. Do not include sensitive personal information in a comment.

The Contact form collects a name, email, subject and message and uses it to handle the enquiry and, where configured, deliver it privately to the editorial contact. We use those details to understand and, where appropriate, respond to the submission. A contact request is not posted as a public game comment or automatically forwarded to Max Games Studios.

Embedded games and video

The selected browser game is served from www.stickwarlegacy.io. It loads when you start the player. The provider may deliver advertising, request consent, use storage or make network requests that are separate from the website’s own service. Review its current notices before entering personal details.

The video section uses a thumbnail first. Selecting its play button loads a YouTube privacy-enhanced player, after which YouTube processes the request under its own policies. App Store, Google Play and creator social links are outbound destinations; this website does not control their accounts, advertising or retention practices.

Storage and access

Community records and local-preview contact messages are stored in this site’s own database. Contact submissions are stored privately in Cloudflare D1; Cloudflare may notify the website operator by email. Local previews use a local database; a production deployment uses the configured service database. Access to moderation tools requires an administrator account configured by the operator. Information should be retained only while needed for the submission, moderation or abuse-prevention purpose.

The base website does not enable analytics or marketing telemetry. A future change to measurement, advertising or integrations requires this notice and any relevant consent controls to be updated. Server and hosting providers may separately retain operational request logs according to their service configuration.

Your choices and requests

You can refrain from voting, commenting, opening a third-party player or sending a contact message. Browser settings let you inspect or clear site storage. Clearing data can remove a remembered vote or affect a provider’s saved progress, so check a game’s own save options first.

For a question about this site’s own records, write to contact@stickwarlegacy.co.uk with enough context to identify the submission. Do not send a password or unnecessary identity documentation. Questions about app accounts or information collected by the game host should be directed to that provider’s official privacy or support contact.
